Coquet Park After School Club KS1: we created these fantastic Halloween themed drawing grids tonight! We had fun sketching all of our spooky characters and once we began to colour them they really came to life! Great focus and concentration at ART4 tonight!

Coquet Park Artsmark Award Celebration: lovely to see the gorgeous golden paintbrushes (based on the work of artist Jim Dine) up on the wall in the Art Room! They’re so individual and show the kind of delightful expression that demonstrates why we should be incorporating Art fully into our primary schools! We are GOLD! Glad to be involved!

RGS Colour Theory Workshop 6L: fantastic start on our complimentary colour wheels this morning! We were introduced to colour theory and then created these vibrant colour wheels, we then added complimentary colour shapes to make our artwork POP! Fantastic effort by all, you were so creative 6L!

RGS Colour Theory Workshop 6M:fantastic start on our complimentary colour wheels this morning! We were introduced to colour theory and then created these vibrant colour wheels, we then added complimentary colour shapes to make our artwork POP! Fantastic effort by all, you were so creative 6M!

NHSG After School Club EYFS and KS1: mask making for Halloween this week...but with a twist! These Mexican masks are fun, colourful and are based on skulls! We worked on trying to use symmetrical patterns too! Great job with the colour combinations by the youngest ART4 artists! I think they look spooktacular!

‪NHSG After School Club KS2: more pumpkins based on the work of Japanese dot artist Yayoi Kusama! They look great! We also began our work on haunted houses, they’re going to be spooky!
